For more than 30 years, 100 Black Men of Indianapolis has partnered with other community organizations to provide a six-week program for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 8, designed to address knowledge loss over the summer also referred to as the ‘summer learning loss’. The program balances academic classes with cultural and recreational activities. Through academic classes and computerized skill-building activities, students review math, reading, and science skills in an effort to decrease knowledge loss over the summer. Other activities include financial literacy, visual and performing arts, swimming, and health awareness.
Grade Level: PreK – 8th Grade
